In a modest ceremony this week at TMB Los Angeles, the 10-year anniversaries of three of the company’s cable assembly technicians were celebrated. All three are part of a distinct companywide group of professional, highly-skilled cabling technicians, of whom TMB is justifiably very proud. Also a matter of great pride at TMB is its Pro Cables division’s worldwide cabling staff of over 50, with an average tenure of close to eight years, representing over 400 years of combined experience!
This year, Felix Lighting has added significantly to their rental inventory of ProPlex Devices and Cables. In addition to their ProPlex IQ Two 1616 and 416 Nodes, Opto-Splitters, hundreds of Ethernet cables and ten runs of ProPlex Fibre cable, nine EZ-LANs form the heart of the California company’s state-of-the-art portable networking systems. “ProPlex makes complex show networking easier and more reliable, and our lives easier,” says Ryan Herrera, VP of Business Development at Felix Lighting.
TMB’s ProPlex Cat5e portable cable reached a significant milestone last month when total sales of the flagship product in the ProPlex data cable range, since its introduction at the turn of the century, reached 15 million feet. Enough cable to stretch from Los Angeles to New York and beyond!
Canberra’s Elite Events recently added another 700 metres of ProCable 18X1.5 assemblies to their already significant inventory of the popular six-circuit cables. Bay area sound reinforcement contractors Pro Media of Hercules, CA, recently replaced the entire speaker system at the Honda Center (a.k.a. Anaheim Pond) in Orange County, CA. Four center clusters with 22 JBL cabinets each and 30 delay fills were installed, along with a custom ProPower® RPD power distribution for the Crown amp racks. Approximately 4,000 feet of ProCable® speaker cable was used. All loudspeakers and cable drops were replaced and operational in one week!
